Common questions
- Why does NoStim need Screen Time access?
- That's Apple's own on-device blocking technology — it's the
only way an app can actually shield other apps on iOS. NoStim never
sees which apps you picked, only that you picked some; nothing about
your usage ever leaves your phone.
- The portal doesn't look stripped on a platform I added.
- Tell us which platform and what's still showing —
More → Manual → your platform's guide lists what's
hidden by default, and you can widen it further from the platform's
settings in the Apps tab.
- I locked my settings and want out early.
- That's by design — the escape price is something you set for
yourself in advance, on the lock screen, before it's ever needed.
Look for the priced option on the same screen where you locked it.
- Does NoStim work on iPad?
- Yes, though it was built and tuned for iPhone first — the
layout is a little more spacious on iPad than a purpose-built
iPad app, but every feature works the same.
