Surgical Log Book Pro is designed so that we cannot see your data, because it never leaves your device.
We collect no data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and makes no network connections of any kind.
Everything you enter — cases, ratings, tags, notes — is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. It is included in your normal device backups (iCloud or computer backups you control) and is deleted when you delete the app or use "Delete All Data" in the More tab.
The app is a personal professional log. It is designed to contain no patient-identifying information: log procedures, not patients. Do not enter names, record numbers, or other identifiers.
CSV, PDF, and backup exports are user-initiated only. Files are generated on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet; where you send them is entirely your choice.
The optional Face ID / passcode lock uses Apple's on-device authentication. The app never sees or stores your biometric data — iOS only tells it whether authentication succeeded.
